The Anglican Communion’s network of environment champions has received a boost with the news that the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has agreed to be its honorary chairman and patron. The news was revealed at the Anglican Consultative Council’s meeting in Lusaka, Zambia, today.

In his Lent message, Archbishop Francisco de Assis da Silva, says that members of the National Council of Christian Churches in Brazil had adopted Our Common Home: Our Responsibility as their theme for their Lent reflections.
