At its best politics is about values, about what we consider most important. That is what faith is about too. Both go to the heart of the matter. In their different ways they affect fundamentally how we live together in God's creation.

The Archbishop of York, Dr David Hope, is to visit Romania at the end of July. The Archbishop, who sponsors a Romanian child through the charity The Christian Children's Fund of Great Britain (CCF), will be visiting various charity projects during his visit.
