On 27 February 2003, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd Rowan Williams, will be enthroned in the historic Mother Church of the Anglican Communion, Canterbury Cathedral. The Primates of the Anglican Communion will be led in procession by the Secretary General of the Anglican Consultative Council, the Revd Canon John L. Peterson.

Old Catholic Bishop celebrates first communion in Church of England

The Old Catholic Bishop of Switzerland, the Rt Revd Fritz-René Muller, last weekend celebrated an Anglican Communion service, in English, at a Church of England altar. He also addressed the Anglican Swiss Archdeaconry Synod. It was the first time this had happened in Switzerland, although con-celebrations have been held in other countries.
