[Diocese of Egypt] Assistant Bishop for North Africa Bill Musk will preside at a memorial service [at St George’s Anglican Church in Tunis] for the victims who were killed in the terrorist attack at Sousse last week.
The attack resulted in the killing of 38 tourists and the injury of another 36. Most of these victims are British citizens, and some are Tunisians.
Bishop Bill and his wife Hilary visited the injured twice last week to provide pastoral care and to pray with them and their families. Most of the injured now have been transferred to hospitals in their countries.
“Tunisians are very angry and sad because of this attack,” Bishop Bill said. “They are peaceful people and are not accustomed to such attacks,” he added.
The diocese asks for prayer for the families who lost their loved ones, for the injured and for Bishop Bill as he ministers to the people. Share prayers on the Anglican Communion Prayer Wall.
