The Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan and the committee for peace and Reconciliation that launched a peace campaign for Lakes States on Tuesday in Juba are in Rumbek East County after preaching in Awerial County, Greater Yirol West and Yirol East Counties.
Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul said that the campaign that started in Juba has shown that the people of South Sudan yearn for peace and reconciliation.
“The public in all counties where we have preached for peace and reconciliation are happy; the public needs peace and justice. They need security and forgiveness – the people of God should accept the peace slogan and preach unity among themselves.” Said Archbishop Daniel.
