[Lyon Anglican Church By Keith B. Burrell] In a truly joyful celebration including the Church's African Praise Group and attended by representatives of other denominations present in Lyon, the Rev Ben Harding was instituted and licensed as the new chaplain of Lyon Anglican Church (LAC) by the Rev Yann Naylor Archdeacon for France.

Rev Harding is married to Jo;  they have two boys, Roman and Tobias.

Asked about his vision for the church Ben Harding said:  "Little did LAC know when you gave me a French Bible with Matthew 28:16-20 written in the front cover that these words  are ‘red hot’.  Jesus’ call to make disciples feels like an inescapable message:  We must go on to making disciples and I am convinced that this is the task we are called to as a church family (and Christian community in Lyon). The adventure for us will be to work through how we do that, in this generation.”
