[Peace FM] The Anglican Church has inaugurated a 12-member governing council in Accra yesterday to steer the affairs of the Anglican University College of Technology (ANGUTECH).
The council, among others is expected to provide attractive courses to train students who would have employable skills, entrepreneurial and technologically skilled for today’s market.
Most Reverend Professor Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, Chancellor of ANGUTECH disclosed that the university aims to train high level science and technology human resources in a holistic manner and conduct innovative research to provide for the technological skills and extension services for the country.
Dignitaries present at the ceremony included; Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah, Deputy Minister of Education in-charge of Tertiary; Former Defence Minister in Kufuor’s regime, Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor , Nkoranza North MP, Hon Derek Oduro, Nkoranza South MP, Hon Robert Sarfo-Mensah and the Omanhene of the Nkoranza Traditional area.
