[TZNZ] Christchurch's new cardboard cathedral is now officially in the hands of the Anglican Church.
Contractors handed over the keys today and Bishop Victoria Matthews blessed the building in a special ceremony late this afternoon.
Work on the structure in Latimer Square started in April last year and was plagued with a number of delays.
