While many churches marked June 2 with memories of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth 2 some sixty years ago, St. Mary's Church Rotterdam in The Netherlands marked the 100th anniversary of their present building.

Back in 2008 they celebrated the 300th anniversary of the presence of St.Mary's Church in Rotterdam in the presence of HM Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands, This celebration was intended for former and present members and clergy of our church.

Bishop Geoffrey celebrated two services during the day, a Celebration Eucharist in the morning and a Confirmation Service in the afternoon. Before a splendid international lunch the Bishop blessed the newly refurbished garden.

A new photo book (€ 10)has been published as a supplement to the history book of 2008 (€ 15). Both are available through info@stmarys.nl
