Jon Denn, Administrator at the Trinity Church Conference Center in West Cornwall has created a wonderful movement for the church and the world called ‘Counting Prayers’.

He kicked off the call to prayer at St. Paul's Chapel in NYC last Sunday and is asking everyone of ourchurches, every community of faith dedicated to eradicating poverty to pray this prayer every Sunday until Poverty is ended. Doing this keeps us ever mindful of the needs of the world around us and reminds us of our role in its solution. It unifies us and calls our leadership to accountability. Imagine senators, legislators, presidents, prime ministers, governors, and many unmindful voting peoples sitting in a house of worship anywhere and everywhere and hearing this prayers every Sunday.

The website is: countingprayers.org

When your church registers, The website will include you in the count and update the global number of prayers having been said each week. Please register your church, pray the prayer and spread the word.

‘The world now has the means to end extreme poverty, we pray we will have the will.’

Let's make our prayers count!!!!!
