HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Bishop of London, joined the Dean and Chapter of St Paul’s Cathedral this morning (October 18) for a service to mark the Centenary of St Luke’s Hospital for the Clergy.
Based in Fitzroy Square, St Luke’s is a hospital providing free treatment for Anglican clergy and their dependent families, and certain others involved in ministry. Totally modernised in 1994, the hospital is one of London’s most up-to-date acute hospitals. Through its 220 Honorary Consultants, all of whom give their services without charge, the Hospital is able to offer treatment over a wide range of conditions and at a number of associated hospitals throughout the UK.
