Communion divisions and the Lambeth Commission
The Church of Ireland Primate, Archbishop Robin Eames, as Chairman of the Lambeth Commission, has written to all Anglican Primates and Moderators, to up-date them on the work of this international Commission. He describes the work at present being undertaken, arrangements for the next meeting of the Commission in June and also stresses the dangers of developments being announced before the Commission reports in the autumn. He speaks of 'defining and widespread consequences' to be faced by the Anglican Communion once the Commission completes its work.
