Global ACC members discover Dundee

The members of the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC) meeting in Dundee will take a break in their busy schedule to meet people and visit historic sites in Scotland.

There will be a photocall for the press and media on Wednesday, September 15, 1999 at 4 p.m. at the RRS Discovery, off Riverside Drive in Dundee, Scotland.

The 125 members of the ACC will then walk through the city centre to City Square where a Piper will lead them into Caird Hall for a reception hosted by the Lord Provost.

The ACC will stop in the City Square for a group photo with the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, and the Bishop of Brechin, with many of the ACC members wearing national dress for the occasion.

On Sunday, September 19, the ACC will have Edinburgh Day, including worship at St Mary's Cathedral and a greeting from the First Minister, and on September 22 they will visit Glasgow for the opening of a new centre at St Matthews Church, Possilpark. (2 p.m. photocall).

The ACC meeting ends on September 25.
