"Our Thanks and Praise: The Eucharist in Anglicanism Today," Papers from the Fifth International Anglican Liturgical Consultation, David R. Holeton, editor.

These essays and other documents from the International Anglican Liturgical Consultation which met in Dublin in 1995, address the subject of the Eucharist and its implications for Anglicans from the point of view of theology, ministry, structure, mission, renewal of faith, liturgical events, and personal challenge. The Consultation engaged more than seventy liturgists from twenty provinces and regions of the Anglican Communion.

The tenth Anglican Consultative Council (Panama, 1996) commended the Principles and Recommendations of the Dublin Consultation and the statements of the working groups the Provinces for study and urged the Primates to commend them to appropriate committees, colleges, and networks, "which will guarantee their wide dissemination among all who are concerned with the renewal of liturgical practice and the revision of liturgical texts." The additional material in "Our Thanks and Praise" will enhance these study projects.

The comprehensive collection includes five preparatory articles, six study essays, ten responses from across the Anglican Communion, and the consultation Principles and Recommendations with a study guide.
