The Ven David Farrer, Vicar of St Peter's Eastern Hill, in the Diocese of Melbourne has been elected Bishop of Wangaratta. He succeeds the Rt Revd Paul Richardson who has returned to Britain.
The Revd Canon Stephen Pedley, Canon of Durham Cathedral, has been appointed Bishop of Lancaster, Diocese of Blackburn, Church of England. He succeeds the Rt Revd Jack Nicholls, who has become Bishop of Sheffield.
The Ven Michael Hill, Archdeacon of Berkshire, has been appointed Bishop of Buckingham, Diocese of Oxford, Church of England. He succeeds the Rt Revd Colin Bennetts, who has become Bishop of Coventry.
