The Archbishop of Canterbury will visit His Holiness Pope John Paul II from 3rd to 5th December 1996. The Archbishop will be accompanied by his wife, Mrs Eileen Carey, together with representatives of the Anglican Communion and members of his personal staff.
While in Rome, the Archbishop and his party will be accommodated as guests of the Holy See at the Venerable English College.
