Ground breaking research from the Sheffield Centre has revealed that Fresh Expressions in the Diocese of Liverpool are growing faster, deeper and wider than was previously thought. The research revealed at a major diocesan conference on growth this Saturday shows that Fresh Expressions are now a major part of the growth of the diocese.

At a meeting of the Chapter of St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast on Wednesday 20th June two ecumenical canons were appointed following the retirement of the Revd Wilfred Orr and the Revd Ivan McElhinney. The new canons are the Revd Ruth Patterson of Restoration Ministries and the Revd Dr Brian Fletcher, Minister of Cullybackey Methodist Church and a former President of the Methodist Church in Ireland. The appointments have been welcomed by both the Bishop of Connor and the Bishop of Down and Dromore.
