C of E unveils logo for Queen Elizabeth's 90 birthday

The Church of England has unveiled the logo that it will use for its celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II’s 90 birthday, after running a design competition through church schools. Ten-year-old Lucas Salinger from Potten End C of E Primary School drew the winning design, which was selected from more than 1,000 entries.

Prince of Wales visits London church in celebration of community cohesion

A London church at the heart of one of Britain’s most diverse multicultural communities has this afternoon been visited by the Prince of Wales. Prince Charles made the lunchtime visit to St John’s Church, Southall, in the London Borough of Ealing, to meet members of the town’s faiths forum and to see a little of the community work of the church.

1000 refugees reach Italy through "Humanitarian Corridors"
